About Me
Cinematographer. Filmmaker. Storyteller.
For as long as I can remember, stories have always fascinated me and you could always keep my attention by starting a sentence with "Let me tell you a story..."
At 39 years old, I decided to take a risk and quit my 9-5 job to pursue a career in film making. The advantage of changing careers later in life is that I've put in the hard yards and know that when the going gets tough, I just work harder.
Film making requires a lot of problem solving. I've yet to be on a set where everything has gone 100% according to plan. Anyone who comes into this industry thinking they can plan their way to the end without some deviation is in for a surprise. Luckily I'm a good problem solver and can think on my feet.
To quote Orson Welles, "A writer needs a pen, an artist needs a brush, but a film maker needs an army".
